HGTV please?

 so this is the front of the house. it needs a face lift. we've been VERY SLOWLY working on the porch paint debaucle - SLOOOOWLY chipping paint. i think we're finally going to get a chemical paint stripper to get that gunk out of here. we're planning on staining it a nice dark gray. NO MORE YUCKY BLUE PORCH! :)

also, i'm tired of the turquoise. i'm hoping lee lets me paint (ahem...HELPS me paint) this spring/summer. i'm feeling a gray/yellow color scheme.

also, the kitchen is going to get a backsplash. we'd already settled on the cheap-o white ceramic subway tile. found this picture and it was a done deal! hoping this project happens sooner than later! 

Current Events

(1) Soph likes to play "airplane"

(2) We're learning that we have a bit of a DIVA on our hands

(3) Swinging is pretty neat-o

(4) Soph is eating more table food - tonight, we had sketties...

...she LUH sketties...

...but was ready to be cleaned up once her plate was clean (which didn't take too long)!

(5) Spring is coooooming... so Mama got some new sandals. Thanks Tar-jay! :)
